Tim Ward

Tim Ward of Circling the Square aims to create artwork that is sympathetic to its location and requirements of the users & local communities. Tim enjoys consulting with people within the creative process, is committed to working collaboratively in delivering projects and believes this approach creates artwork of real value that will be strongly supported by local communities who share a sense of ownership and pride in the public artwork.

Born in Manchester, Tim studied Fine art at Goldsmiths’ College, London before entering the field of public art. In 2002, he formed Circling the Square which aims to bring together all his experience of engaging communities in designing and implementing innovative public art schemes. Tim is an elected member of Art Workers Guild since 1992.
