The project was launched at the Stockport Heritage Library with consultation days in November open to the public and with local community groups invited to meet the Artist, view his previous work and discuss the themes and approach of the Stockport Transport Interchange Public Art Project.

The project is to engage the local community of Stockport, enabling them to learn and share learning about the rich, varied and fascinating history of the town and that of the wider local community. The project is to target and engage local residents, schools, churches, social clubs, youth groups and other interested community groups.
